Esport3 is a Spanish free-to-air television channel, the third channel operated by Televisió de Catalunya, part of the Corporación Catalana de Medios Audiovisuales. It offers programming of a markedly sporting nature. After starting its test broadcasts on October 18, 2010, it was officially launched on February 5, 2011 at 9:45 pm with a small presentation ceremony at Camp Nou, Barça's stadium, as its first regular broadcast was the soccer match between Barça and Atlético de Madrid, corresponding to the 22nd round of the Spanish 1st Division League, simultaneously with TV3 and TV3 HD.
