The Department of Information has a come a long way in little time. What started off as a Unit in the Premier’s Ministry, became a fully fledged Department in 2001.
Over the years the Department’s operations evolved from the production of a simple one hour news package, to three times a week. Soon after it became a daily news package with a total of five hours of local programming from Monday to Friday and four hours on a Sundays.
