Стартира през 2008 г. с мотото "Виж - това е важно". Разпространява се сателитно чрез Intelsat 12, позиция 45.0°E на честота 11509 V във формат – DVB-S2, кодиране – MPEG-2 и наземно цифрово чрез регионален мултиплекс MUX BUL12-1 (София-град) на канал 64. Чрез широка гама собствени предавания на екологична тематика, както и политематични, информационни предавания и документални и игрални филми се стреми да развие и обогатява екологичната култура на българското общество.

WITI maintains studio facilities located on North Green Bay Road (WIS 57) in Brown Deer (though the studios carry a Milwaukee postal address), and its transmitter is located on East Capitol Drive (just north of Highway 190) in Shorewood.

1973年、新潟県に3局目の民放テレビ局の開局枠が割り当てられたものの、免許を申請した業者が余りにも多数で一本化できず、各社間の調整にも失敗したため結局申請は却下、第一次オイルショックによる不況も重なって計画は立ち消えとなった（ただし、枠そのもの(29ch)はそのまま残った）。
